SASHA Members: Ecojet

What does Ecojet do?

Ecojet is an innovative UK-based airline pioneering sustainable, zero-emission air travel.  Our goal is to decarbonise regional aviation through the use of electric aircraft powered by green hydrogen fuel cell technology.  Ecojet has committed to purchasing 22 hydrogen-electric engines from ZeroAvia and is actively developing its operations to launch the UK’s first zero-emission airline. Beyond pioneering sustainable flights, Ecojet aims to stimulate and drive economic growth in the regions by re-connecting cities and communities across the country.

Why did Ecojet join SASHA?

Ecojet joined the SASHA to advocate for sensible and effective policies that support green hydrogen in aviation. The company recognises the regulatory and policy gaps that currently hinder the certification and investment process for zero-emission airlines. Through SASHA, Ecojet seeks to influence standards, push suppliers to innovate, and build momentum for hydrogen in aviation with a focus on aligning scientific evidence with policy, making SASHA a vital platform to drive systemic change.

What impact does Ecojet’s work have?

Ecojet’s work is reshaping the mindset and direction of the aviation industry.  By committing to fly without CO₂ emissions or contrails, Ecojet is directly challenging legacy airlines still reliant on kerosene.  We also promote broader industry change by serving as a role model and employer of choice, attracting individuals inspired by sustainability and innovation.  Our impact lies not only in technology but also in pushing for policy reform, supply chain requirements, industry accountability, and cultural transformation in aviation.
